1.1 Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the RunAi application ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1.2 Description of Service

RunAi is a mobile application for runners that allows you to log runs manually or track them live via GPS, view history and statistics, generate personalized training tips and plans powered by artificial intelligence, and sync data across devices via the cloud.

1.3 User Account

• An account is required to use the App. You can sign up with email/password or Google Sign-In.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials.
• Each account is personal and non-transferable.

1.4 Free and Premium Plans

• The App offers free features with monthly usage limits (e.g., AI-generated tips and training plans).
• The Premium plan removes ads and increases usage limits through a monthly or annual subscription via Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You may cancel at any time through the App settings.
• No prorated refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period, except as required by applicable law.

1.5 AI-Generated Content

• Training tips and plans generated by AI are informational suggestions and do not replace medical advice or professional coaching.
• RunAi is not liable for injuries or damages resulting from following suggestions provided by the App.
• Always consult a healthcare professional before starting or modifying your exercise routine.

1.6 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for illegal or unauthorized purposes.
• Attempt to access other users' data.
• Reverse-engineer the App or its services.
• Abuse request limits or attempt to circumvent them.

1.7 Account Deletion

You may request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time via Settings → "Delete my account" within the App. Deletion is irreversible and removes all run data, training plans, and associated subscriptions.

1.8 Limitation of Liability

• The App is provided "as is" without guarantees of uninterrupted availability.
• We are not responsible for data loss resulting from device failures or misuse.
• Total liability is limited to the amount paid by the user in the preceding 12 months.

1.9 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Significant changes will be communicated through the App.

2.1 Data We Collect

RunAi collects and stores the following data:

• Account data: email address and authentication method (email/password or Google).
• Run data: date, distance, duration, pace, terrain, effort level, and notes you record.
• Location data: GPS coordinates collected during live runs to display your route and calculate distance and pace in real time. Location is collected while the Live Run feature is actively in use, including when the screen is off — a persistent notification indicates active tracking. Location collection stops immediately when you end the run.
• Subscription data: plan status (free/premium) and payment identifiers managed by Stripe.
• Usage data: advertising identifiers for displaying ads (Google AdMob) on free accounts.
• Diagnostic data: if the App crashes or fails to respond, we collect a crash report containing device model, operating system version, app version, and the technical stack trace at the time of the failure, via Firebase Crashlytics. This data is used solely to identify and fix technical issues.

2.2 How We Use Your Data

• Provide App functionality (history, statistics, synchronization).
• Track live runs via GPS, displaying your route and real-time pace.
• Display a persistent notification during active runs showing live stats (distance, time, pace) and keeping GPS active with the screen off.
• Generate personalized training tips and plans via artificial intelligence, including feedback during or after a run.
• Process payments and manage subscriptions.
• Display relevant ads (free accounts only).
• Improve the App and diagnose, identify, and resolve crashes and other technical issues.

2.3 Data Sharing

Your data may be shared with the following third-party services, strictly for the purposes described:

• Firebase (Google): authentication, cloud storage, and crash/diagnostic reporting (Crashlytics).
• Stripe: subscription payment processing.
• Google AdMob: ad display on free accounts.
• AI Service: anonymized run data is sent to our server to generate tips and plans. No personally identifiable information is included in these requests.

2.4 Storage and Security

• Data is stored locally on the device and in the cloud (Firebase Firestore).
• All communication between the App and servers is encrypted via HTTPS.
• Access to Firestore data is restricted to the owning user via security rules.
• Sensitive information (OAuth tokens, API keys) is stored securely on the device.

2.5 Data Retention

• Your data is retained as long as your account remains active.
• Upon account deletion request, all data is permanently removed within 30 days.
• Anonymized and aggregated data may be retained for statistical purposes.

2.6 Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data through the App.
• Request complete deletion of your account and data.
• Cancel your premium subscription at any time.
• Disable personalized ads in your device settings.

2.7 Children

RunAi is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us.

2.8 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We recommend reviewing it regularly. Continued use of the App constitutes agreement to the most recent version.
